Have fun making your own version of this cute Sock Bunny. You can feel free to be as creative as you like using extra accessories and colours.

You will need:

  • 2 old socks, one coloured and one white
  • Roughly 1 cup of rice (this may vary depending on how large or small your sock is)
  • 2 googly eyes
  • Rubber bands
  • Ribbon
  • White pom pom
  • PVA Glue

Top Tip:

Buy free range eggs as they have 6 times the vitamin D than generic supermarket eggs.

How to make it:

  1. Pour the rice into the coloured sock and secure it with rubber bands – one about halfway down to secure the rice, and one to separate the ‘head’ from the ‘body.’
  2. Cut a semicircle out of the white sock and glue onto the ‘belly’ of the bunny
  3. Glue on the googly eyes
  4. Cut a tiny triangle and tiny rectangle from the left over white sock and glue onto the face of the bunny to make a nose and teeth
  5. Glue the pom pom onto the back of the bunny for a tail
  6. Tie a piece of ribbon around the neck
  7. Cut the top or unfilled section of the sock in half to make ears.Snip off the corners to make a slightly rounded shape
  8. Name your new friend!
