Dog Tug Toy

You will need:

  • Recycled stretch knit fabric (use old t-shirts or pants) cut into twenty 2.5cm x 50cm pieces. For smaller dogs, reduce the length and quantity but not the 2.5cm width.

How to make it:

  1. Lay your pieces together in two sections of ten. Twist the two sections together and tie a large knot at each end as shown in the picture. Your knot should be tight and secure. Alternatively, you can plait your strands together or add extra knots along the length of the toy.

Cat Wand

  • 1 wooden skewer, sharp end cut off
  • Craft glue
  • Recycled stretch knit fabric (use or t-shirts or pants) cut into eight 2cm x 20cm strips.

How to make it:

  1. Wrap 2 strips of fabric around the skewer. Use the craft glue to secure each end.
  2. Tie the remaining strips of fabric to the end of the fabric wrapped skewer. Make sure your knots are firm and secure.
